We explore the blue-flagged beach at East Head in West Witterings that has so many tourists and people flocking towards week in and week out.

There is only one way in for the public- through a dual operated parking system which charges £8 for entry, up to £6.50 most weekends, and £105 for a general annual ticket.
The WC facilities and Fish and Chips Catering area.

Public Facilities are easy to access once you gain access to the parking compound, and it is unimaginable to predict how much money the catering areas must make within a weekend.

Here is a notice board that adds to assist people to find the various areas of interest nearby or to be made aware of the signs and rules, or the beach information itself.
Lifeguards armed with lifesaving devices frequently patrol the vicinity of the beach area and the red and yellow flagged zone.
There is also an Ice Cream Shack that also sells ice cold beverages in the car park, as well as other sites dotted around that are signs of a popular public area.

Image One: Early morning proves a very adequate time for frequent windsurfers and people who enjoy water sport to enjoy themselves away from the centre of the beach at East Head. Winds this morning rise up to 25mph with temperatures lingering around 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. (14 to 18 degrees Celsius)

Image Two: Both houses pictured at the top of the image have a combined worth of over £2 million, each being currently listed on the market for £1m and £1.4m respectively.

Image Three: The various Public Footpaths situated around the beach makes it perfectly accessible by cyclists, cars and pedestrians alike, making it easy for our family friend Gill to enter the water from only a 30 second walk from a public footpath at the end of her road.
